How would you be able to monitar and protect youreself from a volcanic eruption

Be aware of the hazards that can come with an eruption: the flying debris, hot gases, lava flows, potential for explosion, mudslides, avalanches, and geothermal areas. Prepare provisions, water, food, blankets, and medical supplies.watch out for Lava flows and Gases

Protect yourself by
knowing a quick route to safe ground listening to authorities regarding volcanic activity Save water in your bath, basin, containers or cylinders at an early stage - supplies may become polluted.Stay indoors with your pets as much as possible.Wear mask and goggles if you go outside, to keep volcanic ash out of your eyes and lungs. Keep gutters and roof clear of heavy deposits of ash, which can collapse the roof and don't leave the house unless told to

What are the diffrent types of volcanic landforms, and how are they created?

The three different types of volcanic landforms are shield volcanoes are composite volcanoes and cinder cone volcanoes.

shield volcanoes-Has a gentle upper slope and a stepper lower slope. composed almost entirely of relatively thin lava flows built up over a central vent.Very little pyroclastic material is found within a shield volcano, except near the eruptive vents, where small amounts of pyroclastic material accumulate as a result of fire fountaining events.

composite volcanoes-Have steeper slopes than shield volcanoes. The steep slope near the summit is due partly to thick, short viscous lava flows that do not travel far down slope from the vent.

cinder cone volcanoes-cinder cones are small volume cones consisting predominantly of tephra that result from strombolian eruptions.Cinder cones often occur in groups, where tens to hundreds of cones are found in one area.

Where do most volcanoes occur? What are the exceptions?

Most of the worlds volcanoes occur on the tectonic plate boundaries. As the crustal plates shift and move away from each other or into each other eruptions can occur

The exceptions are dormant volcanoes which no longer has any magma in the lava chamber, but can still become active.

How do volcanoes change the atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere

Volcanoes effect the atmosphere by volcanic eruptions releasing lots of gases into the atmospheric, some of which pollute the environment and affect the atmospheric content

volcanoes effect the hydrosphere by a volcanic eruption can discharge pollution, found in the air, that can pollute water bodies that are located nearby the site of the volcano. It can effct the peoples water supply nearby

volcanoes effect the geosphere by areas around volcanoes have better soil.

volcanoes effect the biosphere by volcanic eruptions will destroy crops and plants. Without these plants, the Eco-system will be affected. Food webs will be affected. Soil, however, that are situated near volcanoes are generally more fertile than those found elsewhere. Also if water around life gets polluted it will also affect life.

How do volcanoes impact earth?

volcanoes impact earth by volcanoes help enrich soil for farming and provide reservoirs for the storage of ground water. Volcanoes also valuable resources are formed in volcanoes. These elements include sulfur, zinc, copper, lead, tin, uranium, silver, mercury, and gold.Humans makes use of all of these elements that volcanoes provide. Geothermal power is an alternate energy source that is better for the environment and volcanoes provide this to society also.
